Sierra Vista Farmers Markets
Growing Together Since 2005
The Sierra Vista Farmers Market is Canceled
I’m sure most of you are following the fast-evolving events related to the COVID-19 virus. Due to the State and Federal guidelines issued this past week, the City of Sierra Vista is canceling all events that consist of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks. We have been informed by the City of Sierra Vista that this includes our event use permit for the Sierra Vista Farmers Market. For more information on the City’s event closures please see the following press release from the City of Sierra Vista here: Canceled Events
This means that for the next eight weeks the Sierra Vista Farmers Market will be on hiatus. We know this will be challenging for both our customers and our vendors but in light of current events we have little choice. Even if there is only a slight risk at the current time, the safety of our customers and vendors is our primary focus right now.
Please note that this newsletter includes a full list of our vendors and their websites and/or Facebook pages so that you can contact them directly if you need to make direct arrangements with them for food or other necessities.
As events warrant, we will be updating you on the status of the Farmers Market and the date of our return. Please stay safe out there. Hope to see you all again in early summer.
